The fawn - pinnacle of innocence and purity, receptivity and youth. When you meet the eyes of a wild animal, you see something that also lives in you. The fawn is a reminder to be gentle, disguised in a patch of wildflowers.
This series is a limited run. I brush a pale yellow slip over a dark-bodied clay, then carve into each piece by hand. I will not be recreating this particular color combination, and there are under fifteen pieces in this collection.
This piece holds about 10 fl ounces. Microwave and dishwasher safe.
