This piece is thrown on the wheel from white stoneware, then dipped in black slip which gives a layered, atmospheric quality to its color. I carve the image by hand.
The white anemone is a striking contrast against the variegated dark slip. This small chalice holds 2-3 fl ounces. Dishwasher and microwave safe.
