This statement piece celebrates intricacy and attention to detail. The naturalistic gesture of the milk snake, twines against blooming peonies.

This vase is thrown on the wheel, then dipped into black slip. I then hand carve the image into the surface, revealing the white stoneware underneath. The lip of the vase is adorned with gold luster.

This vase is 11” tall. Hand wash only, and stand to let dry.
