Bobcats roam the woods on the lookout for their next meal. They move with ease and grace, perfectly disguised in the sun-dappled forest.
The slip on this mug is very subtly variegated, providing exquisite texture. I consider these markings and imperfections as in accordance with the design and visual harmony of the piece.
This one of a kind piece is thrown on the wheel from white stoneware, then dipped in black slip and hand carved into. I distress the slip, let it run, and embrace the individuality of each piece. Painted gold luster adorns the piece, highlighting the details of the image and the irregularities of the slip.
This mug holds 8 fl ounces comfortably. Take a close look at the tilt of the handle.
Please note, luster is not microwave safe. Hand wash or wash occasionally in the top rack of the dishwasher to preserve the luster.
